Companies and educational institutions frequently assume that by investing heavily in the online video conferencing platforms, world-class training can be delivered. In the absence of engaging content, most training is merely thinking of replacing the classroom-style teaching with the video conferencing tool. But, this is only a transitionary phase as the limitations of this technique are emerging. Video conferences don’t replace the face to face interactions as teachers and learners have found. Teachers cant gauge the interest of learners and learners either drop off or don’t learn as well.
This takes us to the question, what should replace classroom style teaching? Is there a better way of making learning digital, engaging and not so tedious. Companies can ensure that they continue to deliver relevant, world-class training by choosing the right learning platforms.
